A LONG LONG TIME

It has been a long time since I posted . I hope my readers are still with me .
After a 68 day stay in the hospital, 19 in ICU , I was so thankful to be home .

Jesus lead me thru the Valley of the shadow of Death when it appeared I wouldn't make it .

Thank you for all the visits , cards , & prayers . You don't know how much they meant . I learned the value of visiting the sick & hope to start when ever I am able .

I should do a post on things I learned during my 68 days in the hospital . Jesus had several things He wanted me to see .

There was no sign of cancer when I left the hospital but i still have to take more chemo when I get stronger. I am in a wheelchair now but can use a walker some .

I have a long way to go but I sure have come a long way . I am confident that Jesus will bring me the rest of the way .

I am looking forward to talking sports & telling stories with you again . How about Will Muscamp to Florida? What is the truth about Cam Newton ? The Colts & Cowboys collapse !

Hope to post again soon .

  2. Hi! Rockey...don't know if you remember me or not..I am Ed Cox,You knew me as Sam's dad.1982, 83 &84 were some of the most enjoyable of my life....somewaht thanks to a guy named Rockey!.I remember you chasing the ref around the gym and out the door in Jackson......My grandaughter went to Bolton High for two years..the first time I remember being at Bolton this Rockey was given a "T" by another ref for calling Sam for "standing around like a wooden indian". It so happened that the Ref's name was also Sam.How about that cold, dark ,and icey night at Mitchell High? These are the memories that make up ones life. Thanks for so many great ones. May God bless and continue to lead you in your recovery. Thanks, Ed Cox
